Advanced Dental Technology

Dental technology is used in our office to assist our dentists in identifying, diagnosing and preventing dental concerns.

Our dental office uses a variety of advanced technologies to enable our dental professionals to provide more accurate assessments, treatment plans, and improved patient experiences for the best dental care possible.

The use of modern technology and our patient-centered approach to dental care will help us provide you with the best dental results.

Dental Technology - Digital X-Rays

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays use electronic sensors to capture images that can then be converted into digital images that are viewable on a computer screen. Our dentists can easily analyze the patients’ teeth, jaw bones and surrounding structures to provide a more detailed diagnosis.  The accessibility of digital x-rays enables our dentists to educate and inform patients during appointments. Digital x-rays aid our dentists in efficiently designing treatment plans to achieve the best results. When necessary, digital x-rays can also be used to communicate with other dental professionals for consultations and referrals.

Dental Technology - Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras are designed to capture high-resolution images of the teeth, gums, and oral structures from various angles. The images captured can be instantly displayed on a computer screen, allowing both our dentists and patients to view and discuss them in real-time. The high-resolution images allow our dentists to identify even minor dental issues in very early stages. Intraoral images assist our dentists in creating precise treatment plans, whether it’s for restorative procedures, orthodontic treatments, or cosmetic enhancements. These images are also beneficial for tracking changes in our patients’ oral health and monitoring how treatments are progressing over time.

Dental Technology - Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic x-rays are used to capture a much broader perspective of the oral and maxillofacial region. As the name implies, a panoramic x-ray provides a panoramic view of the teeth, jaw bones, and facial bones. The x-ray machine rotates around the patient’s head in a semicircle motion capturing a comprehensive view of the teeth, jaw bones, and surrounding oral structures.  Panoramic x-rays are non-invasive and generally more comfortable for patients. Our dentists can use these images to discuss any dental concerns and treatment options with patients.
